It's not the first time I've had to initiate containment protocol.

Not the first time the alarm has filled the lab with whooping sirens and frantic orange light.

Not the first time I've watched through the viewing window as confusion turns to panic, then to pain.

It all just seems so different now, on this side of the glass.
